REFEREL Consulting participated in the third annual working meeting of MOON POWER Bulgaria – a brand from the Porsche BG portfolio, specializing in intelligent and customer-oriented solutions for building charging infrastructure. The event brought together representatives from a significant part of the Volkswagen and Audi dealer network in the country, providing a valuable platform for exchanging expertise and best practices among key participants in the automotive market.

Within the two-day program, together with colleagues from the industry, we explored fundamental topics related to the transformation and strategic adaptation of the automotive business to a rapidly changing market environment. The focus of the discussions was the development of electric mobility (e-mobility) and the expansion of charging infrastructure on a national scale. Among the key technical areas covered were AC and DC charging, bidirectional energy exchange (Bidirectional Charging / BiDi, including V2G and V2H concepts), as well as the processes of distribution and implementation of charging stations in the commercial environment.

As a partner of Porsche BG, REFEREL Consulting contributed to the professional dialogue by sharing expertise on topics of high strategic importance for the industry. Our first presentation session focused on the electric vehicle segment and the sustainable growth of EV sales in the Bulgarian market. With over 25 years of experience in automotive retail and consulting, we presented our perspective on the competencies that every EV salesperson and aftersales employee should possess, as well as the role of charging infrastructure as a factor in increasing conversion, optimizing the sales funnel, and improving the overall customer experience (CX). We also reviewed current market solutions and ways for their effective implementation in dealership operations.

The second focus of our participation was on professional practices in the used car business – a segment with historically significant importance for the industry, which requires increased strategic attention in the context of the current restructuring of management models (agency model transition) in official brand dealerships. Together with the sales team of Das WeltAuto, we discussed why this topic is critical for dealers, as well as specific approaches for optimizing processes, expanding operational capacity, and maximizing profitability in this business segment.
